April 2020

Long time no see or hear from! I am so sorry about that. I am trying to rewrite this first book “Chosen” which may even have a new title by the end of this rewrite! The new book will be for 16 yr olds and up. It may take awhile to get it all together as I haven’t started yet so be patient and just know, I will let everyone know when it is done!

I hope everyone is staying home with the Pandemic COVID-19 running a muck throughout our world. As of today, we in the US haven’t hit our peak yet. So please stay home if you can, stay at least 6 feet away from anyone outside your home, wear a mask and gloves to go to the grocery store and just use your common sense to avoid the airborne virus that is floating around us. Not only are you protecting yourself, you are protecting others from you. Please check on your elderly neighbors during this stay at home time and always check with them if you have to go out for anything. They will be so grateful that you may be able to help them out with bringing things back for the.

I will try my best to update this blog more frequently than every 3-4 years!

Stay safe and read some books while you are at home 🙂

What an Arkansas Winter in 2014!

Our winter started in December and as of this morning, we had a dusting of snow on the ground here int he deep south!!! This winter has done us in, we are not used to all this cold weather, ice, freezing rain and snow. Our spring normally starts peeking it’s head out in late January but not this year!

I know everyone is waiting patiently for the 2nd book of Magnolia Vampire Series and I would love to finish it. I have been busy with work and just can’t seem to grab any time to get my writing in. I still hope to finish soon, please don’t give up on me.

I hope you all have an awesome Spring and get outside and mix it up with all Mother Nature has to offer 🙂

Love to all,
Angela Cornell

Summer in Arkansas

This has been a very strange summer here in Arkansas. The weather has been cool most of the summer and this month, August, has barely hit the 90’s at all! It has really been a pleasant summer but the waters are cold so not much swimming going on. I just returned from a visit to the Ozark Mountains and the Fairies were out and about all over the area. They seem to love the cooler summer and have spread their flower magic all over the valleys and mountains. It is truly gorgeous in the Ozarks, in all four seasons.
I just cleaned out the response / comment list from my blog and I had 184 spam comments! I did not have one comment from readers of Chosen which disappointed me. I won’t let that discourage me to continue working on the series but I would love for some of my readers to send any encouragement to help push me along! It would also help if I would win the lottery and not have to work all the time! lol
Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the summer, even though school has started, it’s still summer until Labor Day! (to me, anyway).

Spring 2012

I plan to begin working on Book II of Magnolia Vampire Series very soon.  Most of the yard is cleaned up and blooming, the pool is clean and “cold”, almost finished planting my garden.  I am looking forward to writing the next ventures of Maddie now.  Please feel free to send me any critiques or ventures you would like to see Maddie go into next 🙂

Hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful spring.  Go outside and smell the flowers, it is truly relaxing and enlightening.

New Authors

How many books have you read from unknown authors? I have read several and I have enjoyed them all. We should all broaden our horizens and give an unknown the chance to take us away to their imaginative world. There are so many awesome writers out there that just need one little chance to prove themselves.

Why don’t you be one of the few to give them that chance! I tend to believe you will be quite surprised and delighted.

Dec 26, 2011

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with family and / or friends.  We had an awesome Christmas.  We fixed breakfast at 6:00 a.m. (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy) then we opened gifts.  Once all the gifts were opened, off to Nanny and Grandaddy’s we all went!  We spend the afternoon and evening there with the entire family.  It was wonderful.

I don’t plan on taking any of my decorations down until next weekend or after.  I want to enjoy them just a little bit longer.  I am taking today off work to pick up and put up then plan on getting back to work tomorrow.  Have a lot of catching up to do.

After the New Year, I plan on getting busy on the 2nd book in my series.  I am so excited to add to Maddie’s world and can’t wait for you to read all about her new adventures as she ages and gains powers.  I don’t think you will be able to put her story down, it is one exciting adventure after another!

I also plan to add a purchase page to my web page so you can buy my books directly from me.  I would like everyone to have an autographed copy if they want one and that is the best way I can think of to make that happen.  Keep an eye on the website for new changes.

Happy Holidays and Have an Awesome 2012!!!

Merry Christmas

I hope everyone is winding down with your gift purchases so you can enjoy the week before Christmas.  I am finished shopping but still have a few to wrap.  I wish I could take off work this week to really enjoy the spirit of Christmas but I can’t.  I’ve been sick with a sinus bug for two weeks so of course I have gotten behind at work and I have to catch up because for some reason the mailman continues to bring bills to me!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and hopefully you bought all of your readers a copy of Chosen!
